Fire fatalities in Scotland and recommendations to help reduce them - Final Phase: Review of Fire Investigation reports, written by Raman Chagger and published by BRE in 2020, defines a LPS 1655 watermist system as: ‘…an approved local application watermist system used as Personal Protection Systems in residential and domestic occupancies within buildings.’
Where LPS 1655 - 1.0 sets out the ‘Requirements and test methods for LPCB approval and listing of local application watermist systems for use as Personal Protection Systems (PPS) in residential and domestic occupancies within buildings.’
